Software as a Service (SaaS)
Saas (also known as rentware or subscribeware) is one of the cloud computing services that offer licensed software on a subscription basis. In this system, the service provider manages and updates the core infrastructure.
Most Saas applications, also known as “Web-based software” or “Hosted software,” do not require any additional downloads or installations and can be run directly through a web-browser (for instance, TOPS Expert Cloud). Saas provides numerous business lines, like management software, office software, messaging software, accounting, virtualization, content management, etc.
