Repair and confirmation

Communication via email. The lists of repair are prepared, scanned and sent to the client manually for further approval.

The visual editor of defective statements that supports photos and notes. The solution provides other functionality such as budget forwarding and approval via system interface, as well as repair and cancellation in the client’s Personal Cabinet.

Acceptance-Delivery

Requests for Acceptance and Delivery are processed via regular mail and email. As a result, a portion of requests get lost that results in the unexpected delays and interruptions.

Clients can now request an estimate in the Personal Cabinet (which contains information about the client\\\\'s stocks). The requests are processed inside the system interface. As a result, the system eliminates the possibility of downtime due to the terminal\\\\'s fault.

Reporting

Excel spreadsheets are created manually. The reports are sent daily via email.

Container data exchange for large operators (like Maersk, CMA, COSCO) via EDI and API. At the same time, the system supports automatic report generation of container\\\\'s availability for other operators via email

Customer interaction

The client cannot see the number of containers on the terminal. The client also does not have information about containers’ conditions and cannot view photos of the defects. Communication is done by email. As a result, the terminal and a client tend lose understanding during conversations.

The client has a personal account, which displays real-time information about containers, degree of defects and their complexity with photo evidence. The client can now see his previous requests for Acceptance and Delivery. The system allows the user to create a request in the Personal Cabinet and view his previous applications.

Storage area

Lack of a map or identifiable storage locations

Users can access a 2D map to see exact locations of zones, sectors and stack divisions. Reach stacker drivers can see the assigned movement tasks and the exact coordinates of the next container they need to lift.

 

RESULTS:

 

We upgraded the terminal system in accordance with the client’s requests. The Acceptance and Delivery request processing was simplified significantly. We have excluded the human factor that led to unexpected penalties and revenue losses. The terminal system now has a personal account for the client’s convenience. The efficiency of the Acceptance and Delivery department has increased by 60%. Clients now need significantly less time to create request or send new messages to terminal operators. The implementation of innovative information exchange tools via API and EDI led to a rise in the client’s loyalty and satisfaction rates (including global scale operators like CMA and Maersk).
