A Gate Operating System (GOS) is system software for the management,supervision of gate processes and sub-processes. It's quite similar to TOS (Terminal Operating System), is currently being utilized in most advanced terminals,depots. GOS implementation is highly profitable in terms of reducing costs while increasing terminal's overall productivity.
GOS is a complete solution that comprises several software modules, with some of them are customer-oriented, others are customizable and configurable.
Gate Operating System's primary purpose is to simplify, streamline operational processes within a terminal. It automatically tracks vehicle, identifies its type,license plate number to guide it through pass screens. Driver doesn't even need to get out of the vehicle (so-called "Driver-Self-Service").
Gate Operating Systems work with TOS, as well as other terminal systems, software modules. GOS is usually customizable, can be implemented in various technological environments according to the operator's and customer's needs. Consequently, GOS provides terminals with enough tools for improving productivity, cutting unnecessary operational costs.
